EVERYONE needs to go to this thread immediately and pick out a type for their characters and edit their profiles by adding the type you pick. In THREE days time, i will check ALL profiles and those that do not have a type listed in their bios i will consider deleting. All characters that you are not roleplaying with either need to have a starter put up soon or need to be introduced into a thread, or you must delete them if they are unwanted.
The elements have been finished, please go check that out.

Welcome to the real world. Masquerade reveals the true nature of deception in an RPG. When our identity is concealed, hidden behind a mask, we have the opportunity to live a lie. When lies converse, everything is distorted into false reality. But how long can the lie be kept, be held, be trusted? Can you decipher the truth?
It was the most hectic time of our lives.
We had used the wolf for centuries, for as long as we can remember, for our personal desires of power.
The common canine has become our ultimate weapon, and the imprint is what filters all of its power to us. Notorious for our cunning ways of luring potential members into our clutches, we come in mass number. We destroy, we fight, we ravage, all for the sake of a better world. Who ever knew that so much chaos could bring so much peace. As they always say, "A life anew is reborn from the ashes of the elderly being. A phoenix of greater power shall arise."
It seems that no matter how hard we try to inform the people of further lands that we only wish to bring them a better world, we always fail to please them. Many are retaliating, and we are forced to defend ourselves. It seems most of us have lost grip on what is right and what is wrong, and rather than using our source of power for good, we use it to destroy all of those who stand in our way. Yet, will this battle turn for us? If we win, will it make up for the lives we have taken?
Or will the phoenix born take flight on broken wings ..
The foreign vampires are bringing not only the towns people many difficulties, but us as well. While the vampires of The Black Guard are more sophisticated and civilized, these waves of newcomers are no less of an animal as their wolven counterparts. They obliterate everything within their view, killing, draining life. Are they vampires? Or are they demons? Are they the messengers of the hell in which our world is bound? The foreshadows, the premonitions?
It seems the more that we try to heal them, the more of us are killed.

Hunting
Deer: Plenty of deer are running about this Spring. Fawns are being born and the bucks are the prized possession of hunters. Buck horns are being carved and sold for money, and pelts are being used for rugs and cloaks.
Elk: Elk may not be as plentiful but they are definitely craved by the wolves and by the hunters. Elk meat is of high quality and is the base meat for the sun dried jerky snacks hunters chew on.
Fish: The more favored animal to catch by the wolves. Happily romping in the water while looking for a silvery fish snack is what excites them most. Although hunters usually dont bring their wolves with them because the wolves tend to chase the fish away. Fish are always numerous and therefore are the primary source when looking for a hearty meal.
Predators
Bears: Bears are just now starting to awaken from their sleep, and boy are they hungry. Watch out for them for when they start hunting they hunt in mass numbers. Although bears are not pack animals, the cubs are more than willing to try and take a wolf on for size.
The approaching Fall calls for damp weather. The horrible morning mists and ongoing storms cause everyone to make a hasty retreat to shelter.
CURRENT MOON
Not to much activity. And there is reason for it. Setting aside the nasty weather, the village is at its most vulnerable. With the most rumored and feared facilities having been taken over, many fear this new leader may be just as bad as the previous owner to the buildings, or worse. Nevertheless, attacks on the people are becoming more frequent.
Destructive, and mislead. This confused army of warriors and assassins are most lethal in their current state of mind. The raid has taken its hold by striking panic in those who have heard of it, and most importantly, there is now no doubt that these feared trappers who had lived there previously had really existed.
Although our brave little soldier, Caien, is not around at the moment, things seem to very settled for the time being. God forbid if anyone were to cause mischief while he is out, he has been very anxious lately and for good reason. With no other high ranking member in the pack to keep order, anyone could do anything and therefore he has been feeling extremely rushed to get things done, which is leaving a bad vibe coming from him and the pack.
Syrian has come to claim this vast amount of land, and currently the weather is proving it to be a nice choose. There isnt to much going on at the moment, but it seems that this news had gotten Caien's attention. It wont be long before the outcome of this meeting is decided.
Viros is in festival season, the time of year when the cherry blossoms are finally shedding and float blissfully through out the town. People are everywhere, and shops are flourishing with merchandise. It is the perfect time to go out and shop.

Maelstrom
The Homestead The log and stone built homes were beautiful. Many were privately placed just behind the forest's edge, never to far one another, while others were brimming the various dirt paths through the village. Maelstrom. The landscaping in which its founders have worked so hard on was absolutely beautiful. Village gardens littered the homestead area, and small frog ponds were scattered throughout the clearing. Curved wood bridges adorned these ponds, while brass lamps hung lightly over its oak and cherry wood walkway. The stone and granite walkway seemed never ending, and unlike the dirt paths, the stone walkway branched off only to the many ponds.

Gaurdian's HQ Maelstrom's head guard is based here. The demands for willing and worthy warriors is on its rise, and the placement involves vigorous training. The guardian himself is not seen often for his pupils are more than capable of handling problems, but it is rumored his disposition proved him to be a good man. When he is spotted, he is seen patrolling the village, making words with common folk and helping the poor. It is here, though, that the strongest come to be taken under his wing, to train, to devote themselves to his leading.

Central Point The marble trimmed fountain was bursting with watery life. The stone statues of two wolves sat proudly within the fountains pool, while the waters jetted from holes in the side of the base stone. Bronze and silver coins littered the bottom, symbolizing the many wishes for good fortune and health. Many have set up shops here, as well as more social guards who sell weapons and protection for those other fighters. Many jobs are available within town, but major business men tend to be antsy and impatient.

La barre de Maelström This is the most popular hang out for all of those outgoing night people. While everything sold for cheap, the bar was particularly fancy. Sitting on the corner of the street, many gather on the outside patio, and the crowds could deter any anti-social passerby. Yet, the beauty of the bar itself seems to attract many, and those people cant seem to help but join the fun.

The Black Guardians
The Black Gaurd Organization A towering building of glass and stone. With a very ancient dungeon look to it, this castle like structure houses only the most powerful and experienced. With an odd obsession towards the Imprinted and the power those bonds hold, its leader raises an army of pure bred assassins. While he may believe he is doing good for the world, he remains vaguely unaware of what his dutiful minions have become, as well as the wolves who stand beside them. Moderator: Lady Xen

Hell's Kennels Formerly a holding spot for captured wolves, these outdoor cages are located towards the back of the building. Many of the cages are exposed to the elements, but the wolves that were still held there and suffering were given a treat by the newcomers and their cages have been covered by wide wooden boards to shield them from rain. Indoor kennels hold pups and mothers, and these cages are located within a smaller steel, barn-like building next to the outdoor cages. It is there where males are brought in to select and bond with a female of their choice, and breed with them. The Black Guard does this in hopes that each of its members can be rewarded with a pup to imprint with. Yet, surprisingly the wolves are treated like gods, and have much freedom as long as they do what they are expected to.

The Thick Of Freedom
Kaimerade Valley A vast territory stretching for miles across barren grass land. This still remains property of the Black Guard, but only because the Black Guard's leader has entrusted this land to his valiant and ravenous imprint. The wolves that follow Caien are not harassed by the Black Guard to provide them with wolves for bonding, but under Caien's rule, they are expected to defend their leader's master and go to battle, no matter how often it may be. The wolves residing here tend to be more sinister and ghastly by appearance. And here it is best that the light of heart keep distance, for Caien tolerates no weak loners.
Meloni Shores Coral Reefs are so beautiful, and this one in particular stands as the most prized possession of Kaimerade territory. A spectrum of colors stretches far and wide, and though the beach is small and wolves are blocked from wandering to far by massive cliff rocks, it serves as a good hunting ground for fish. A trail coming from the valley runs through the small woods before the shore, which makes easier access to food and romance. Females beware, for roving males who dont belong to the pack will take advantage of any pretty fae looking at the views of the ocean.

Terrieas Woods The woods of abandon, formerly home to a mini pack of dires, it was overthrown by Caien. The thick woods carried a sinister appearance, and barely any light would shed through the canopy. Humans often come here for a sense of peace, for their is an old shrine located somewhere in the ruins of the old packlands, but they are in constant danger of roving male wolves who reside here on the borderlands.

Esmelaira Barrens Esmelaira Barrens is a rather oddly cooled savanna, which doesnt sport as much heat as one would normally think. The beautiful land and cooled weather is a haven for the wolves that thrive here. With several clusters of trees through out this sandy terrain, it is much valued land and is well maintained by its members.

Pools of Savoring There were many desert adapted trees here, even though this wasnt much of a heated desert or savanna. Here, streams gather to form drinking holes and the tall grass provides camouflage and protection for any wolves or humans to travel this far.

Morador Heights Massive cliffs and canyon like cracks are scattered over the drying earth. Yet, despite the slight heat, desert like plants litter the land. The canyons may be high and dangerous, but pronghorn trails serve as good guides to cool caverns and places to sleep. Watch out though for snakes and hostile birds.

Viros
The Living Quarters A few groups of houses will be gathered in various areas throughout Viros. Although Viros itself is a small village, smaller than Maelstrom, alot of money was put into the building of it, and therefore it contains an unparalleled beauty that attracts many people. Homes are rather private, not really clustered like that of Maelstrom's, but they are still in view of each other.

Viros Central Large and beautifully constructed stores outline the bright red brick streets of Central Viros. The main attraction for all of its population, many gather here to participate in the variety of activities held by the store owners and Viros Guards. Although there is much to do in Viros Central, many prefer to sit back and admire the beauty of the Spring cherry blossoms shedding their petals in late spring and summer.

Galeo's Bluff The town of Viros recedes against the back of a giant bluff, whom when looking down over the cliff itself, a vast scenic view of Esmelaira territory is visible. The town was said to be founded by a man named Galeo, and so in honor of his efforts, the bluff in which the town looks up upon is named after him. Even though the view beyond the cliff is of a wide open Savanna and some various tree patches, it is a sight to behold.

Itala's Dining The founder of the city, Galeo, had a wife whom started a restaurant further back in Viros. Although both are deceased, her fine dining restaurant is still visited every day by hungry customers. With only the best of chefs, exquisite food is prepared for a cheap price.
- Karma has been forewarned through PM that she had Three days to comply with my wishes, to participate in site activity, or she would have her account deleted. Unfortunately the third day has come, and i have not gotten any response from her what-so-ever. I had no choice. If Karma wishes, she may re-create her account, but only if she is able to be active on the site. If other members are not going to be able to participate, let me know, and perhaps rather than having your account deleted, it will be kept in memory.
Leto
Yes, Leto. I am pretty sure he has noticed our constant attempts to get his attention on the c-box, and even though he appears to be even more anti-social that our Janus, he still has gained a special place on the site.
At first i thought he was a girl, because it is not often guy roleplayers create female characters, so i was shocked to hear otherwise. Either way, Leto, its an honor to have you with us.
Tiamet
Simply because he likes taking long walks on the beach. I mean, what evil minded guy wouldnt want to take a relaxing stroll by the shores? Well other than his unusual habits, Tiamet is a character i am proud to have with us.
Zaieir thinks he is useless which he IS NOT, and therefore he refuses to give me a real update.
